About Us

Dr. Karimi is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist with a strong foundation in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She completed her advanced training and degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery prior to relocating to Canada, where she successfully fulfilled the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) equivalency process. Since 2018, she has been practicing as a general dentist in Canada, bringing with her extensive clinical experience and a surgical skill set that enhances the quality of care she provides.

Dr. Karimi offers a wide range of dental services, with a particular focus on complex surgical procedures. These include the removal of fully impacted teeth, crown lengthening, gum and bone grafting, sinus augmentation, periodontal pocket reduction, and oral biopsies. She is certified in Oral, Nitrous Oxide, and IV Sedation, ensuring a more comfortable experience for patients who may be anxious about dental treatment.

Her patient care philosophy emphasizes comfort, trust, and clear communication. With her warm and approachable manner, Dr. Karimi ensures that each patient feels informed, supported, and at ease throughout their treatment.

Deeply committed to community care, Dr. Karimi volunteers at a non-profit dental clinic in Sidney, Vancouver Island, where she provides essential treatment to children and youth from underserved families. Her dedication to improving access to oral health care reflects her passion for making a positive impact beyond the clinic walls.

As a lifelong learner, she regularly pursues continuing education to remain at the forefront of evolving dental techniques and technologies.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Karimi finds joy in gardening and cooking, where she expresses her creativity in the kitchen. She cherishes spending time with her supportive husband, wonderful son, and close friends, and enjoys exploring the natural beauty of British Columbia.
